One of the main reasons for this is the fact that the executive market – with the narrowing of the labour-market pyramid – offers fewer opportunities and there is increased competition for the available positions. On the other hand, the good performance in traditional selection situations is not a natural consequence of previous executive or interviewer experience. Our career –in a good sense of the word – accompanies us throughout our whole life, that is why it is not enough to pay attention to it only periodically.
